After more than four decades of hauling freight across the Southeast and beyond, Davis Express, a family-owned trucking company based in Starke, Florida, has announced it will be shutting down operations.
In a heartfelt message shared on the company’s Facebook page, owner James “Jimmy” Davis confirmed that April 23 will mark the final day of deliveries for Davis Express. All remaining trucks and trailers are to be returned to the Starke terminal by the end of the month.
